Marcus Anderson Info: Winner of the 2009 Capital Jazz Challenge, saxophone prodigy, vocalist and fellow NCCU Eagle.Marcus Anderson, at the age of 24, saxophone prodigy and vocalist, electrifies stages with an unmatchable energy and an intoxicating sound that exceeds well beyond his years. Anderson's debut album "My Turn" is an upbeat collection of soulful R&B moods, ranging from bold jazz grooves to romantic ballads.

NCCU NIGHT AT CHAMPPS AT THE STREETS OF SOUTH POINT

Marcus Anderson, winner of the 2009 Capital Jazz Challenge, saxophone prodigy, vocalist and fellow NCCU Eagle will be performing at the NCCU Alumni Night at Champps from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM At the Streets Of South Point. The cost of this function is free and there will be an after party at Champps from 9:00 PM - 2:00 AM. The purpose of this event is to provide quality entertainment and networking opportunities for NCCU Alumni and Friends. This event will be hosted by DJ Kandid in association with A.C.T. Productions, the Durham Chapter of the NCCU Alumni Association and Young Urban Professionals.

NCCU Undergraduate Admission's Office Needs Alumni Volunteers

In an effort to increase the number of students attending NCCU The Durham Chapter of the NCCU Alumni Association has teamed up with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions to assist in confirming the enrollment of admitted students. Calling sessions are from 5 PM - 8 PM in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions until August. A script will be provided by the admissions staff upon arrival.
