NCCU scholar shows films

DURHAM -- N.C. Central University Fulbright Scholar Debra S. Boyd will screen three short films on Africa at 6 p.m. Dec. 2 at the Stanford L. Warren Branch Library, 1201 Fayetteville St.
The films are: "African Filmmakers: A Photo Documentary," "Man from the River Niger: Kélétigui Mariko" and "Griot of Gorée: Joseph Ndiaye."
The films are part of a series titled Genius of the Sahel, a collection of short documentary films about extraordinary African personalities who live in the Sahel.
This event is free and open to the public.
