GOLDEN EAGLES!!! Sounds exciting, doesnt it? Well, that is what we are about to become. All Classmates graduating in the year of 1956, who are in attendance of Founders Day Services on Friday, Nov. 3rd will be inducted into the Golden Eagle Society. We are truly blessed to have reached this milestone in our lives and it calls for a celebration that you would not want to miss. Please make plans to attend.

We, along with the University, are planning a weekend of fun especially for you. On Thursday, Nov. 2nd we shall start with our Class Registration and an Unforgettable Class Hospitality Hour at the Durham Marriott (Downtown), which is Headquarters Hotel for most of the Homecoming Activities. Early Friday morning our class will be inducted into the Golden Eagle Society during the Founders Day Services. A Golden Eagles Luncheon will immediately follow, which will be free for our classmates. On Friday evening, the University is sponsoring a Legacy Gala/All Reunion Banquet. Saturdays activities will consist of the Homecoming Parade, Football Game and Alumni Dance.

At this reunion, we would love to present to our Alma Mater a class gift of at least $60,000. We can accomplish this goal if we can get 100% participation from all of our classmates. The University has set its goal at $300,000 and is encouraging everyone to strive for a $1000 contribution. If you are able to give the recommended amount, please give it. If not, please contribute whatever you can to help us to attain our class goal. All contributions will be highly appreciated.

Please make your check/money order payable to NCCU Foundation, Inc. and mail it directly to the Foundation at:
P. O. Box 19363, Durham, NC 27707.
